Digital Marketing Officer

Main purpose of the job:

As part of the role you will be required to create, implement, manage and optimise digital marketing campaigns across a range of platforms and channels. The Digital Marketing Officer will report to the Group Head of Marketing and support the strategic marketing activities across the Group.

You will be focused on creating and optimising multichannel marketing campaigns and report on their effectiveness. The ideal candidate will be experienced in building Google Ads campaigns, along with optimising and continually evolving these to deliver industry leading, best practice.

This is an exciting time for the Group as we look to launch new products into the UK and international market and are preparing our business for further growth.

It is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a change and who has 2+ years prior experience working in digital marketing, who is diligent in their work and has great attention to detail, possesses strong communication skills and has technical knowledge and experience in Google Ads, SEO, social media and marketing automation.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, monitor and optimise digital marketing campaigns with Google AdWords across different markets
  • Track and analyse campaign performance using data and insights to provide recommended strategies for campaign optimisation
  • Conduct content and keyword research for on-page and off-page SEO tasks
  • Implement, monitor and optimise email marketing automation
  • Ensure digital marketing activity aligns with our brand and strategic positioning
  • Work closely with the marketing team in order to support and implement a range of marketing campaigns and initiatives

 

Key skills:

  • Experience setting up, managing, and optimising paid search campaigns
  • Experience creating PPC ad copy and managing ongoing tests, with the ability to deliver industry best practice – ad extensions, ad copy, device level bidding and scheduling
  • Hands-on experience with multichannel digital campaigns across paid search, SEO, social media and email marketing
  • Great communication skills both verbal and written
  • An eye for detail and ability to analyse data
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Ability to self-organise and prioritise the workload, track and see tasks through to completion while making sure deadlines are met
  • Work with diligence in a timely manner and being able to go the extra mile to achieve a positive outcome

 

Experience/Knowledge/Qualifications: 

  • The ideal candidate will be experienced in building Google Ads campaigns, along with optimising and continually evolving these to deliver industry leading, best practice.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in digital marketing, with a focus on multichannel marketing.
